Dr. Samir Patel D.D.S.
General and Cosmetic Dentist in Thayer, MO
Dr. Samir Patel is a unique small-town dentist. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Georgia State University in 2004 and then went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in 2008, where he learned to use state-of-the-art procedures and techniques to provide exceptional care and quality dentistry.
Each year, Dr. Patel attends extensive postdoctoral studies in clinical dentistry, enabling him to provide some of the latest advances in dental technology, and comfort, for your family
Dr. Patel’s wife, Dr. Hetal Patel, is a family physician. They have three children, Keera, Naveen, and Cassian. In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
Dr. Patel is a member of the American Dental Association and Missouri Dental Association.
Dr. Chyrelle Blount D.D.S.
General and Cosmetic Dentist in Thayer, MO
Dr. Chyrelle Blount graduated, in 1997, from Loma Linda University. It was there that she gained her starting knowledge, skills, and techniques to treat patients with a whole-person care perspective in dentistry.
In her 25 years of experience, she has been able to work with children, adults, and sedation patients. She utilizes continuing education by seeking to evolve her skills through new discoveries and techniques in dental research.
Dr. Blount’s love for healthcare was first influenced by her father who attended medical school in Mexico, which is where she learned to speak her second language (Spanish).
Dr. Blount is married to her best friend, Steve, with whom she shared 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 2 dogs, and a horse. One thing unique about Dr. Blount and her husband is that they are certified scuba divers and enjoy diving with sharks.
Jade
Jade married her husband, Lucas, in September 2020 and they welcomed a beautiful son, Kannan, in August 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and 2 dogs.
Garret
He enjoys helping people and being part of their family at Thayer Dental Clinic. Garett strives to do his best every day to serve our team and our patients.
Garett and his wife, Jessica, have three children Brennan, Brinnley, and Braylynn. Away from the office he enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
Cameron
Cameron enjoys learning about history and anything to do with the universe, “it is very intriguing to me.” Cameron is a huge basketball fan and loves traveling and seeing new places.

My work environment consists of people I’ve been friends with since the first grade. I love the constant opportunity to continue learning in this field and being a dental lab technician.”

Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, friends, church family, and cooking in her free time. One of Tammy’s favorite things to do is to have family and friends over for a cookout.

She loves helping patients turn their dreams into reality, by finding comfortable payment plans and helping patients get their smile back! Madelyn married her husband, Darren, in June 2021! They now have two children, Stella Jo, and Stetson Thomas! In Madelyn’s spare time she enjoys grilling out and making memories with her family and friends!

Madison joined Thayer Dental Care and Walnut Ridge Dental Care in 2018. Outside of work she enjoys the little things in life with her husband Jake and their beautiful daughter Maci. In her spare time Madison enjoys spending time with family and friends.

At our practice, she works alongside Dr. Patel and Dr. Blount to assist in all dental procedures. She works to make sure that every patient receives the highest level of care possible throughout their procedures and recovery. She can answer any questions they may have about their procedures. When not at the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband Kurt, 4 children and grandchildren.

Sara is married to her husband Joe, and they have two sons, Cooper and Cole. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Sara always looks forward to her summer beach vacation, kayaking, and hiking with her family.

Laura and her husband Brandon married in 2009 and welcomed their beautiful daughter Ally-Brook in 2011. Laura enjoys playing golf, watching her husband dirt track race, and her daughter play basketball in her spare time.

While primarily working at TDC for both Dr. Patel and Dr. Blount during numerous procedures, she will help at wrdc when needed. Heather takes pride in her work, being very detail oriented with her fillings and crowns. One of Heather’s favorite parts of working in dentistry is the “WOW” that patients get when they look in the mirror and the close relationships you make with the patients over the years. When not at work Heather lives spending time with her family and friends
